Sort of a win....

I entered a competition from the board last year sometime but I can't find it now....(I just know it was before 24/06, as I had an email from the editor looking for some details)

To enter the comp, you needed to submit a funny question that a child had asked you - Faber (I think) were collating them for a new book where they'd get experts to answer children's tricky questions.

I never heard back again, but I decided to track down the book today and found my son's question in there with his name. The book is called "Does my goldfish know who I am?"

Does anyone else remember this comp? I can't remember if there was a prize or not, or if the prize was to have your question included in the book.

He'll be back from school soon, so I've got the book ready to show him

His question was: "Why do butterflies fly as if they don't know where they're going?"

Update - he was really pleased with it, seeing his question printed in a book !

I think I know the comp you mean as I received a copy of the book in the post. I actually haven't had a look in the book to see if my son's question made it in, I just put it away for my son for when he gets a bit older, lol.

I think the Thanks button disappears after the thread has been inactive for a while - this was posted in December 12...
