Can anybody advise, if they know, does all of the money that I pay the 'gestapo' go to my ex, or do they retain a portion of it for admin purposes? If they do retain a portion it would be better for me to pay her direct!

Currently all of the payments go direct to the parent with care.
There are regulations drafted (which will go through next month unless the Government back down) that would mean cases on the new 2012 scheme would be subject to collection charges when the parents used the Govt. for collection purposes - direct arrangements wouldn't be subject to these charges.0
