hi, don't know if anyone uses powerplaydirect or if you're interested in any of the about to be mentioned codes but, here goes.

The 'Source' convention

When you post codes, each and every time please note the 'source' of these codes and the fact that they can be used by all (if they cannot be used by all, but just a closed user group ( then unless that is a large group e.g. only NHS workers, in which case state this explicity) then don't post it.

If someone has not put the source, please do not use them. You could be committing fraud. Firms are becoming more sensitive to misuse of their vouchers.

The best thing to do is question the poster over the source. If no reasoned answer is forthcoming, either ignore the post, or better still report it to the Abuse Controller.

Oops, sorry.

I entered a coupon but it was invalid, and this page popped up: http://www.hotukdeals.com/PrintArticle375.phtml. It said here is a £1 discount code for your next order, but as the order hadn't gone through I went back and added it and it worked.

POW1 is ok , it's been on the cdanddvdbargains website for ages

It will only work so many times. Last time I tried to use it , it said 'Sorry, the coupon code you entered cannot be used as you have already used it the allowed number of times' , but I ordered it under my daughter's name and it worked ok. I've just tried again and been able to order the new White Stripes cd for £6.99
