Guys please forgive the bump here, but beleive me some will be well pleased that you read this.
A massive thank you to "beornoth" above ! A small post that you could easily have glossed over !
I am sure some will say that this has been discussed many times before, but I hadn't seen it and maybe others might have missed it to.
Firefox and the "NoScript" add-on installed stops the captchas coming up ! Enabling you to enter multiple ITV comps without the captcha grief.
Yes it was a bit fiddly setting up and working out which scripts to allow and which ones not to and I have also found that it interferes with other non itv pages, so if you use Firefox for everything you might not like it.
But I am now using Firefox with the Noscript "add-on" in for the ITV comps and sticking to IE for everything else.
This will speed up my daily entries massively and I just wanted to share with those that might not have heard of it or glossed over the entry above.
Again apologies for bumping the thread, I am sure at least one person will be glad I did.
Thanks again to Beornoth above.0 -
Further to the above. Using the addon I've just entered todays Real Deal without having to bother with any Recaptcha's.
Recommend people look into this... and thanks to Stu@rt for highlighting0 -

Does this mean that the automated entry merchants will be able to use it too?
It was to stop automated entries that the capcha system was introduced in the first place!0 -
Morning All
Sorry to bump but I don't suppose anyone knows what setting needs to be adjusted in NoScript to get rid of the Capture?
Many Thanks

mmmm - hasn't it gone quiet:cool:"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. To me it means that once they are notified of it, they will fix the captchas to properly redirect to javascript free versions.
Sounds like a bug to me that they should be informed of.
(I personally am not a huge fan of noscript addons as it is.)0 -
Captcha is a third party solution owned by Google. Occasionally it gets harder for a while, when Captcha is getting a lot of hacking attempts. They are nightmarish at the moment across the entire web.0
