I get a letter through the door last week about a potential old CC debt.

Purchased my first house last year, held another CC since xx ish which is an has been in good order.

I had experian up until last year, nothing bad at all.

Cabot and Ruthbridge letter in same envelope, Cabot saying I'd failed to agree a repayment plan (news to me) and had passed to Ruthbridge . And then Ruthbridge saying they'd be in touch.

I'm certain it must be Statute Barred, but find that hard to believe given I've got a CC and a mortgage.

Advice on how to handle greatly appreciated.
