EE credit file problem after BR

I was discharged from bankruptcy last summer and wrote to all my creditors at the suggested time as per the sticky on this forum. Everything is correct apart from an Orange (who are now EE - Everything Everywhere) default that is still showing up as outstanding, even though they were sent the letter. I am now communicating with somebody via email attaching said letter as sent last year and asking them to remove it from my credit files in 7 days or I will be contacting the Information Commissioner, they have sent me the below after I sent them the link to my discharge on the IS website as saved on my desktop - this is the only proof I have. Copy of their response email to me as below. I am wondering why I need to send them all of the below information, shouldnt my bankruptcy case number and telling them the date of discharge be enough? I dont want to share my other creditors names with them but do I have to? I could do without having to complain to the Information Commissioner but have no other choice if they wont remove it. All advice on what I should do next would be much appreciated. Thanks

I don't know anything about bankruptcy so may not be able to offer any real advice but I would personally send them what they have asked for. You could blank out all the other creditors?0

Is the actual default date correct?
Tell them that you have already provided them with proof of your discharge and bankruptcy. You have provided sufficient information for them to correct the file, and no more is required. They are however required to update the file, and no more attempts to evade their obligations will be tolerated.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

No the month I went bankrupt (which is when I was a month late paying them - they are my most recent creditor) they have put a mark next to my account (on credit file) saying payment 1 mth late and then up to Nov 2012 the same thing until Dec 2012 when they have me in default right up to now! I went bankrupt on 27th July 2012 and included them in my bankruptcy, so they should have marked it as satisfied just like all my other creditors have.
Thanks I email them back but guess I'll have to write to the Information Commissioner if they come back the same type of email again. Its so frustrating.
Thanks again for your advice0 -
Arrgh they still wont change it to the correct default date! It should say 27th July 2012 at the latest but its still a live default up to today's date.
What to do :-( Going to the IC will takes ages

As this is EE, you can also complain via the ombusman http://www.cisas.org.uk/CustomerInformation-4_e.html
That has set time limits, so should be quicker.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
