Downloaded a programme but it won't play!!

Hello.

I have installed BBC iPlayer Downloads and have downloaded a series of programmes from over Christmas to watch.

Most run fine.

However.....

There's the odd programme (the last episode of Ripper Street!!) that won't play.

I've gone through the faff of downloading them, they appear in the list of programmes with a date to watch them by but when I do go to play them - nothing.

Just a black screen.

The irritating thing is, when I click out of the viewing screen and go back to the list of downloaded programmes, it tells me that I've now got 7 days to watch the programme - as if I had played it, got part way through and closed it.

I can even find the subtitles in the BBC iPlayer folder!!

But it won't play!!

I've re-installed BBC iPlayer Downloads which has 'repaired' the program and still nothing.

The BBC's own website tells viewers to download the programmes again - but I can't!!

It's irritating. I know the programme/program is there but it will not play!

Can anyone shed any light/help me?
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Can't help with your problem but you can watch all episodes of Ripper Street here

Some hosts have better streams ( Putlocker and Sockshare are usually fine ).

Delete iplayer, clear your cache, reboot. Reinstall iplayer, download the program again.
