OR charging me £500 for my Property

Hi,

Looking for some advice. I am currently BR and have a joint property which is currently in negative equity and doesn't have a good chance of that changing anytime soon.

My OR is charging me £500 to remove their interest in the property however I really can't afford that.

Do I have an option NOT to pay it? And what will happen if so?

Should also say I'm in Scotland.

Thanks,
Stevie

I thought if you didn't want to buy their interest back they monitor the value for 3 years after which if no action has been taken then they are no longer able to touch the property............

Open up a dialogue with the OR about your inability to pay
