I have unearthed a dinner service from my loft, has anyone sold to the above company? Do they pay well?
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

I sell china , dinner sets and tea sets etc and replacement pieces . I have never even managed to get a response from any of the big replacement china sellers so I am not sure they buy ad hoc like that.
Some of mine goes though eBay, but most of it now goes out via car boot sales , facebook vintage selling pages and to private clients as the china market is quite depressed . Do some research on the make and pattern though, some of it appeals to foreign markets assuming you are confident in your ability to pack and ship safely.
I used to do vintage fairs but could barely cover the cost of the stall in the latter part of 2013I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Soolin, they have a page detailing the specific design on their 'sell to us' page so will try this first. If this doesnt work will give to charity.
I will let you know what, if any, the response is. I also have loads of vintage china tea sets and cake stands, not sure what to do with them either!A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Do check the completed prices on eBay, breaking down a set is often a good way of achieving some profit with certain patterns. Usually it is the very pretty sets that are valuable, plainer styles, even with a good name don't seem to do well at all.
Also look for vintage selling pages on Facebook in your locale as you may find a dealer who will buy stuff from you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
