Hi All,
I received an e-mail from Ocado giving free 3 months delivery. We have only used Ocado once before.
Haven't used the offer yet since we prefer going into the shop rather online.
Kind regards

Title: "Free ocado delivery for a month". So is it one month or three?
Waitrose deliver over £50 of groceries for free but ASDA Price Guarantee comparison almost always shows that the higher Waitrose price more than covers the cost of paying ASDA to deliver. Unless one perceives better quality from an alternative supplier one should compare the price of the goods + plus any delivery charges.0 -

I meant 3 months. I tried to edit the title but couldn't work out how.
I think that you will be able to do so by editting your first post and selecting "Go Advanced".I thought Ocado was more than just waitrose. When they delivered to me they gave good service which counts for something to me.
I wasn't seeking to equate Waitrose with Ocado merely trying to point out that Waitrose also offers "free" delivery but that if one is trying to save money "free" delivery may mean that one is paying more than the delivery cost in the price of the goods.0 -
Thanks. I've updated the title. Your points are fair ones.0

I hope I get one of those emails, could do with free Ocado delivery. The fact that because of the way their orders are picked (ie not from a shop) they are nearly always going to deliver what you order - that certainty is very useful when one only shops online and only for a limited amount per week.
Oh and their minimum shop is £40 against Waitrose's £50.
Also they do brand price match certain stuff, although I prefer to buy their wide range of organic groceries most of which I've never seen available in ASDA.
The customer service given by Ocado (and similarly Waitrose) is first class something I value when letting someone else do my grocery shopping for me especially when choosing fruit and veg.0 -

I have a code for a years free delivery when placing your first order, along with £20 off £80 shop if you would like it as I don't think I will use it.0 -

Why on earth do companies market via third parties in this way? Why not just put an attractive offer on its own website?0 -
I received the 3 months delivery pass for free too. I've already saved £24 on delivery costs in 4 shops. I only ever shop with Ocado when they tempt me with a little sweetener, last week I also received my 2nd anniversary gift (£10 worth of chocolates) I love that they do this, really nice little gesture for giving them some business. I am totally supermarket dis-loyal, that way every week/fortnight normally one of them emails me some kind of 'please come back' offer. Waitrose have been annoying lately only giving me £10 off £100 vouchers, my weekly budget is £70 so I've had to pass on that.
Shopping at Ocado for meat etc for the meantime minimum spend, until pass runs out and topping up with Aldi or Lidl. The Year Of DreamsBig Love To All Comp Sharers
