Free 50gb dropbox storage but phone storage full

Hi All,

I have been lucky to get free 50gb dropbox storage because i have a samsung phone, but when I connect my phone to the dropbox app after a while it says my internal storage is full.

I have used most of the 50gb dropbox space. Is dropbox trying to put all the storage onto my phone?

is the internal space error a coincidence or because of dropbox.

Dropbox keeps storage on cloud and the devices you have assigned to it. 50GB is a lot of storage especially for backup from a phone. I believe you can assign folder not to sync with a device and just for storage

Thanks savemoney. So dropbox is the culprit then. I am not using dropbox just to back up my phone. I have put all my files in it, including photos and videos.

Will taking the app of my phone solve the issue? I can just access it through the goodle chrome on my phone.
