Correct it says credit policy decline on the screens if it's applied to an account

Yeah it does say it on screen but it doesn't work as a marker.
It's not the CPD itself which will prevent you from getting a credit facility. It's one of the internal explanations for why a customer a can't be offered a credit facility and it relates to account conduct.

I'm afraid a CPD on your account WILL prevent you from getting a credit facility on that particular product where the CPD has been placed.

I'm not sure how that will work however a CPD marker could be added to a particular products.

So you might be good to go for an overdraft or credit card but not a loan for example.

How exactly do you know how it works?

It's not something which can be placed.
CPD is just an internal name that Lloyds use when, as a result of an assessment of the customers account conduct, they can't give that customer a particular credit facility.

You still have a better score than me lol! Nevertheless I would have thought that 3 was good on a scale of 1-9!

It makes me want to work in Lloyds just to see exactly how these scores are calculated!
  • When I got a Loan quote from Lloyds I was given 29.9% APR rate, Didn't go ahead with the full application but I can't understand why I'd get such a bad rate.

I have £1,500 a month going through the account roughly and have never had a returned DD or anything like that.

Pretty decent external Credit history too. Although only banked with Lloyds for 8 month or so.

Depends on how much you wanted to borrow and your income!
