Smooth Radio Competitions

I've noticed that lots of people have problems entering the Smooth Radio competitions, with most stating that they can't access them no matter what location they enter.
I've never had a problem with these and I don't enter any location. I just press the escape key on the keyboard, it removes the "Please choose location" page and it takes me to the competiton page behind it. I've no idea if this is universal since I've only ever tried on my laptop using IE(Lordknowswhatversionbutitsancient), but thought maybe others could give it a try.
