does anyone know where is the best site to get cd players for the car? budget roughly anything up to 90 pounds, the one we have at mo keeps jumping, it is the one that came with the car.

Would any cd player fit a toyota?

Each car usually uses acable to connect to the standard unit the car comes with. Most after market car stereos use what is called ISO connector you will need to buy a cable (harness) to convert from the car connector to an ISO, if your head unit you buy uses an iso connector. ISO harness can cost up to £30

If your car doesnt use a standard DIN hole in the dash you will also need to buy the facia adaptor now again they vary between make, model and age of the car depending on the design of the dash. These also cost, Halfords sell a range but they are usually black and if you want another colour they can order them For one in mine it was £24 in silver opposed to £19 in black.

I decided to contact a mate who works for Vauxhall and he got me their official kit with harness and facia adaptor for £28 (normally £40) but it was a perfect match for the car interior where the halfords one who knows? so give your local toyota dealer a call after you buy your head unit. There have been a few sony units on offer at Halfords mp3 capability and usb ports bluetooth for about £70-£90
