Alternative to The RadioTimes?

I notice that they have increased the price again so it now stands at £1.80, can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative. It's for my Dad so he doesn't want something that focuses on soaps etc just a good all-rounder. Thanks

Tv Cable & Satellite Guide covers everything in a simple format akin to Radio Times.

I used to buy that but it's far too full of soaps for my taste and probably the OP dad.

I last purchased when it was being sold at a low price of 20 or so pence when they discounted it for a few weeks.

OP: I take it that your dad does not like epgs? I dont like them myself. Or maybe he does not have freeview? I thought analogue tv had been switched off everywhere.
  • He's old school, it drives him insane when I plan my viewing on the epg.
