Deep forehead lines

I've always had quite bad forehead lines even in my early teens. I don't smoke, drink or go on sunbeds. I look after my skin and use a spf everyday even in winter. However i've got terrible deep lines on my forehead. Am only 23 and its getting worst. Makeup just seems to make it worst no matter what products I use. I wouldn't say I frown alot but I do raise my eyebrows alot as my brow bone is quite low. I always feel like I can't see properly and my brows are heavy. I have a hodded eye naturally and hate it.

I don't need glasses i've been tested due to suffering from migranes. Just wondering if there is anything that can be done. I don't really wanna go down the botox route as am young and its very expensive and I don't like the look.

I've been recently thinking about an eyebrow lift but its very costly. Would this help the forehead wrinkles or would i still have them.

    Get a fringe?
  • Nip and Fab Frown fix is like Botox in a bottle, you only need a tiny amount but it does make a difference and softens the lines.

I have a fringe, I always tend to have a fringe but they grow out so quickly and its a paining having to get it cut each week basically. For some reason my hair grows to a certain length fast and then stops. Plus sometimes I want to wear my hair off my face.

I will try the nip and fab stuff always hear good reviews on there stuff.
  • Try a retinol product. That should soften them.
  • Fillers, they cost a fraction of a brow lift and you dont get the frozen look :)

I've seen people suggest retinol products. Anyone know of any good ones that don't break the bank?

As for fillers i've read that botox for forehead lines is better and cheaper as you don't need much. However i'd rather not go down that road. I think botox/fillers look great first few times but after a while look weird and I just don't like the look. Plus its expensive if you have to keep getting it. Bare in mind am only in my early 20's.

After removing my makeup in the evening, I've been using a Nip + Fab's glycolic cleanser pads (£12 for thirty) followed Clarin's Lotus Oil (£25) and my forehead lines are practically invisible now after only a couple of weeks. I'm 22 so we're almost the same age. My face in general now looks softer and almost like everything is blurred like it would be if I photoshopped it.

The lotus oil will last ages and ages as you only need a little bit. I have oily/combination skin so don't be afraid of using oil on your face - apparently the science behind it is that it stops your skin producing sebum because it's already well moisturised. The Nip + Fab cleansing pads are slightly less value for money, but you can often pick them up on deals in Boots etc.

I don't have any other lines on my face thankfully but my skin is normal/dry so I tend to use oils and serums. At the moment am using OLAY Regenerist Night Renewal Elxir which has glycolic acid in. Am going to purchase Alpha-H Liquid Gold next month as heard amazing stuff about that.

I will give the lotus oil a go though. At the moment I cleanse using Emma Hardies Moringa Cleansing Balm which is fanastic and before that used Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Use Liz Earle moisturer at night (when not uaing my olay) and Nivea Day Cream with a spf of 15. Think I need a better day cream just hard to know what to get. I always wear makeup that has a spf in it as well.
  • Try Rosehip oil instead of retinol. Take a look at essential oils to add to it as some can be very beneficial to the skin.

  • There are two types of forehead wrinkles one is "forehead row" and the other is "glabellar lines. There are number of treatments available for forehead wrinkles like botox is the common one, but is is a temporary treatment, its effect usually lasts about 4 months. So before choosing any of treatment, be sure about its pros and cons. wrinklereview is a website, rich with information about forehead wrinkles, treatment and its prevention.
