A scoop of Napisan in the whites wash will keep cottons nice and white. Sadly its not so good on nylon clothing. You can buy it in the washing powder aisle at A$da or Te$co.

Another vote for Napisan. I wear white shirts to work and they were getting grey. One of my colleagues said he uses it, so thought I'd give it a try. It's like magic! I put a bit in with every white wash (+ normal detergent) and my shirts are staying lovely and white :)

A box is £3.79 in Waitrose (tesco price match) and lasts for ages.

Glad I stumbled on this thread- 3 kids needing to wear school shirts and I have been wondering how to keep them looking white. Been putting a scoop of oxi white in with every wash but didn't think it made much difference- will give napisan a try :)

Edit: just ordered it on Amazon (£3.50 for 800g, free delivery) which is handy because I won't be at Tescos again until next weekend :)
