Mortgage help?!

Hi was wondering if anyone on here could give me some advice. My partner brought our house with his brother about 5 1/2 years ago. Now his brother wants to buy a house with his girlfriend but now our house has gone up in value, my partner won't be able to get a mortgage on his own for the new price of the property. He is self employed and I'm not in work as I've just had a baby. Really don't want to lose my house it's in a perfect location near town and my daughters school close to all my family and if we have to sell we would have to go further afield to get a mortgage on something of similar size as to what we have now. This is a long shot but would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Sorry if this sounds like im being rude but what do you want help with?
If your partner can not get a mortgage for what you need then you are a bit limited on what you can do.
Are you sure he cant get it? Are you a million miles off or are you just assuming you cant?
If you want to go through the financials - income, value, mortgage required, any commitments we may be able to confirm. Obviously if his income is £10k and the mortgage is £150k then your going to struggle but if its just a bit of a stretch you need then you never know.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
