Best day for fresh produce at Aldi

I wondered what other people found as to the best day for fresh produce at Aldi, especially fruit and veg.


I have been shopping there for years but have found the quality of the fresh produce a bit hit and miss. I am happy to change my shopping day if need be, but wondered if anyone else has any views.

Well, I do have an answer but it might not beof much help. I do like aldi very much and buy almost everything from there. But not fruit as it just does not last, so we buy from elsewhere.

When I was there they had a delivery of F&V and chilled goods everyday so going on a different day to get fresher produce wont make a difference.

And if they arent getting a delivery everyday , there will be different delivery days in different stores , so there is no one general answer to the OP. The only way you are going to know is by asking the store manager.

I buy some of my fruit and veg from Aldi, but find you really do need to 'look it over very well', as there is no 'sell by date':( You also need to check your receipt when purchasing F&V, as I have found mistakes, due to the till operator having to remember codes for F&V.


I haven't really found a 'best' day to buy F&V at Aldi, it is just luck if they had a new delivery before you shop.
