Cake help!

Options
I've made a madeira cake shaped like a number two with blue fondant icing and white stars on for my sons party tomorrow but how on earth do I store it overnight. Its way too big for any kind of box I have so do I cover it with foil/clingfilm or will this make it sweat?

Also I've been searching and nowhere says whether to put it in the fridge or not! Help me, it took HOURS and I don't want to wreck it before anyone sees it ha
Thank you

Can you cover it with a couple of clean tea towels?

  • Brilliant so I can leave it on the side covered in tea towels and it will be fine tomorrow, that's a lot easier than I thought! thank you

Think about where supermarkets keep iced cakes. Not in airtight boxes and not in the fridge. ;)
