I think I already know the answer to this, but thought I'd better check just in case.
I registered for Self-Assessment in August 2013, and received a letter from HMRC on September 6th 2013 confirming my registration and giving my UTR. As I've not had any notification since then to complete a return, I'm assuming that I don't need to do one before the end of this month, but will have to at some point after April this year when the new tax year starts. Am I correct?

It is presumed that, while you registered in August 2013, you have no income to declare for any period prior to 5th April 2013.0
