Hi Everyone, I started Comping in July August time.. and Im very fortunate to have had a few wins... but I feel a bit conned in some cases I won some Christmas Cards and a Planner from Colourblind which never showed up... I also won a Lexibook from Mothercare... but when it turned up it the packaging inside the box (bearing in mind this was for a child) had been glued back together and it had two "open" labels on it (so it was quite obviously a return), I was going to use it as a gift but it cant be now.. I was also lucky enough to win a pair of trainers for my other half in the Kwikfit advent, they messaged me on the 18th December asking for my address and they would be sent straight away... but again nothing has turned up, and I mailed them two days ago, and not even a reply.... Dont get me wrong Im not wishing to sound ungrateful, I know I have been very lucky to win, but its just a bit annoying that when you do, you dont always get what you should!!!!

On the plus side, I won tickets to see the Charlie and Lola show at bluewater, my children loved it... xx

Oh no!! You dont sound ungrateful just disappointed, I also got a email from Motel Rocks on 6th December saying I had won day 5 of their all i want for christmas advent competition and replied with my address etc, as they said they wanted to send prize of binatone speakers out straight away, nothing has turned up for me either and they do not reply to emails, just hoping it turns up still, was really excited too when I won! hope you get something nice from the postie soon x

Sometimes items can take a while to show up, especially if it's a win from December. They usually say to wait up to 28 working days, and sometimes it has taken a month for a prize to arrive for me. Good luck! I hope you see your prizes soon.

Congratulations on winning. Don't give up!. Today i had a WEM from a comp that closed in September you just never know.

Sorry you've had a few bad experiences so far. I wouldn't give up though - there are lots of great prizes out there to be had. I am surprised about Mothercare, though, such a big company as that, I would have expected to be sending out perfect prizes. That's a shame.

Maybe try some of the daily mag wins - they seem to be of slightly higher reliability, quality wise at least, although I've read of people having delays for those too.

I won on one of the 'click to win' dailies on the 22nd of November and I'm still waiting for it to show up. I'm putting it down to Christmas delaying things, otherwise I'd be chasing it now.
I'm giving it another week, but I have had to wait about 6 to 8 weeks for some stuff to turn up. It's always something to look forward to.
BTW, if I had been the OP, I would have complained about the prize from Mothercare, I think that's a bit rotten of them to send a prize in that state.
Oh, and to the OP, congrats on your wins, sometimes when you win, a company will ask for your details and you don't hear from them until something actually turns up. And sometimes, prize chasing emithers get passed around until the right PR person finally gets them, so don't despair just yet. HTH
