2nd job

Hi All,

I'm thinking about possibly getting a 2nd job in a pub.

Does anyone know how I can figure out how much better off I would actually be?

Thanks,

Tanya

What do you currently earn, what is your tax code, what sort of earnings do you expect to have from this second job and will it have any connection with your main job.

Work out how much you will be getting an hour x how many extra hours you will be working minus tax at 20%:)
  • Or is it cash in hand ? how much do you earn in your main job? Do you pay tax ?

As with all tax calculators without knowing the full details you cannot tell if they will give the correct answer. In this case there are very few details known so until the OP gives the details it is impossible to advise.
What is needed is "What do you currently earn, what is your tax code, what sort of earnings do you expect to have from this second job and will it have any connection with your main job."
