Twitter

Just wondered how people enter Twitter comps? when it says Follow and Retweet or RT etc, do you just click on the Retweet button or do you make a new tweet and copy the message, does it make any difference?

Thank you x :D

Some retweet, some copy and paste (opinion also differs on if it makes a difference or not)

  • They are all different. There is a very good site for entering the simple retweet ones called twitninja.com which does everything for you and is free to use. Lots of new comps every day and you just click on the ones you want to enter.
  • Comp to win a £50 Amazon voucher plus lots of other free comps at twitninja.com

Please change your title to mirror the others on the board...

E: [end date in form dd/mm, eg 31/01] win £50 Amazon voucher (TW)

You need Twitter for twitninja? If it's a competition aggregator, chances are most of the individual TW comps will already be on the board.
  • They have RT comps so you need Twitter. Its a handy site for finding good comps all in one place and makes it easy to enter.

I'm not sure where this belongs - it currently looks, because of your title, as though you're advertising one comp.

This board normally has individual, specific comps, and if the titles aren't appropriate, they are moved to Game Over.

I reckon this should be in Compers Chat Forum, as it isn't a specific competition.

Which is where the OP has already posted about twitninja earlier... ;)

I'll send a PM to a BG to ask that it be moved :)

    eta: PM sent to Glad

I use twitninja personally, and as jessicawshoscombe says it's a competition aggregator, although they do have one comp at a time for their site users only.

The other comps on twitninja appear on here separately - the posters put them on with direct links to RT etc, I don't think I've found one through twitninja which hasn't been on MSE as well :-)
  • Can I edit a title? I'm looking but can't see how. Is it best to start again?

It's a competition portal like several others and while you can enter through it the competitions are not run by it (bit like MSE etc). It's like linking to HUKD etc to reach a competition instead of linking direct.
