What works for You?

Hi All,
I realise there are ample threads regarding money challenges and how to make money outside of the usual fields such as working and interest on savings etc.
What methods are actually working for you? I used to use Pigsback but from checking it yesterday for the first time in over a year it doesn't seem to be possible to earn via it anymore. I'm going to try and move to a better site but want to see where people are having success first of all before I do anything.
Thanks.

I use Swagbucks, working well for me but it's only a few pounds at the most extra a week but it all adds up. probably end up with about £15 extra a month which pays my phone contract
You should give it a try. 0 -
I've got a list in my sig of the sites I'm currently using. I'm fairly new to all of them but, given I had planned to shop during the January sales, Quidco is doing well for me at the moment.
I also love my Boots card - if I make a point of buying all of my toiletries there (usually when they're on special) and popping into their Waitrose bit for lunches when that's necessary, I usually have £60-£80 in points at the end of each year without really trying - which covers a bottle of Chanel for those special occasions.
I also started a small business about 10 months ago which turns a small profit - but it did require some seed money and a LOT of effort over the first few months.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

There are loads of website out there and some are more work than others. It depends on you, what works for me might not for you. I do at the moment -
Swagbucks. Not as often as I used to but still get around £5-10 per month. I don't think the pay outs are as high for things like surveys so it does take me longer to get to £5. Since I joined in May 2012 Ive had £110 but I have had months where I didn't go on at all.
Dooyoo. If you like do reviews and/or posting on Trip advisor you will like this. Pays in Dooyoo miles and you get these for posting the review and for those rating it. I really like this, it is time consuming but I have discovered new items and avoided those with poor ratings. It has a good community feel to it. I aim to do about 2-5 reviews per week but this will depend on my work load. I have got the equivalent of £60 since May but I struggled the first month and didn't do any reviews for Dec.
Valued Opinions. Joined in May and have got £30 so far but I am only 25p off my next £10. I find this vary per week/month, I can wait weeks for a survey then get 3/4 in one week so it does depend on what kind of person they are looking for.
The Boots one above is a good mention. I do try to do points deals if the stuff Im buying is needed the same with the superdrug beauty card:money::rotfl::T0 -
Onepoll works well for me, short surveys for pence but they all add up eventually, most sites like this are a benefit if you have friends that are also interested as you can get sign up bonuses.
Topcashback is great for me, I use it for House and car insurances etc. It is usually as competative as money supermarket etc but you get £60-£80 cashback per car insurance premium.
You cant beat working for yourself though, if you have a skill try setting something up.0 -
I used to have a right splatter gun approach to this..but now it's down to simply
63336 - I work for them, go for £200-£250 a month
Shop 'n Scan / Food2Go Text - £6.50 a week in Amazon vouchers guarenteed
Field Agent / Roamler - Ad Hock but you can easily earn a decent amount of money each month.0 -
I still enjoy blogging and make a decent return on them via the Amazon affiliate program and I'm trialing Google Ads at present. I also get a decent return from doing micro jobs, as the orders are constant.
The thing I don't get involved in is survey sites. Now, I'm not knocking people on this forum who do or recommend them, but they eat up your time and the returns are small. As for relying on interest from your savings - FORGET IT! Whilst the mortgage rate remains low, you'll get a pittance back from the bank.Lao Tzu - "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime"

I would second that comment on survey sites. If time is of the essence, though, they're not your best bet - they're giving me the least return on my time investment by far. However if you've got the time to do a few each day, it does add up.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:
