Do you get a message pop up when you're trying to text? Like an error message? I'm quite technical minded so could possibly help you with that part of the problem. x

Yes, tried again this morning but a quiet voice which I could quite catch but I think says `number barred`. have text again but just comes up `error`.

Are you getting this message everytime you try and text? What make and model and who is your network provider, please?

Could it possibly be a facebook text (they use 32665) that you have a message on there?

Apologies for delay in replying. Mobile is Samsung GT-E1170. Mobile provider was Talkmobile but they wanted minimum £20 topup which I wouldn`t mind paying if I was happy with service + it would me years to use if I knew the prize was worth it.
Now with another provider but I regularly change sim card back just to see if there are other messages.
