I am thinking of buying a new printer but want one which does not cost a fortune for ink, does anyone know any good ones, reasonably priced?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Kodak claim that their printers don't cost a fortune to feed. (I don't own one, though)Desperate_Housewife wrote: »I am thinking of buying a new printer but want one which does not cost a fortune for ink, does anyone know any good ones, reasonably priced?

Dell laser colour. We haven't yet changed the cartridges which are £30 and we used to change our ink jet ones every month. Had the laser for well over 6 months now. Cartridges still at 60 percent0

The printer pricing model is the same as razor blades - fancy handle/printer body for almost free, consumables priced to make your eyes water.
Have a look at Epson with separate colour compatible ink cartridges - only a couple of rounds of replacements and compared to legit cartridges you've already saved money0 -
I have been using refills on my HP printer. I paid about £6 for a black refill kit with syringe about 8 months ago and I think there's still about half the black ink left in the bottle!
Refill your cartridges! It's a bit messy sometimes, but spread newspaper and wear rubber gloves and your ink costs will be a tiny fraction.0 -
Try InkEporium for your cartridges , named brands and generics , excellent service and have used for over 4 years and never had a problem with using the generics

So buy a printer of whatever make and save money on your cartridge prices at above company !A Bast**d I May Be ! I Was Born One !
Whats Your Excuse ?0 -
OP - do not get a Kodak printer. We have one and it's rubbish. Yes the actual cartridges are cheap BUT they do not last 5 minutes.
The printer itself has also required a new print head and it often seems to need to do test prints that waste ink.
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER A KODAK PRINTER...0 -
I have a Brother, we get the 'compatible' cartridges for pennies and they work perfectly.0

Agreed! I'm on my 3rd one & despite barely printing anything I've gone through 3 black & 2 colour cartidges already0
