Evening all
I have been comping for a few years now and had a little success but I have never managed to win any comps with such as Shortlist, Mr Hyde or Emerald Street or any of these kind of comps which seem to ask for your age which I feel are probably aimed at the younger hip set.
Just wondered if anyone had any success with these who was 50+ or should I just stop wasting my time?
Grateful for any response

I imagine they just ask the age for internal research purposes. With competitions as large as Shortlist / Stylist, I suspect they are all very 'above board' and randomly selected.
I suspect that some of the smaller companies - e.g. on FB or TW - might only select winners they see as being from their target audience (e.g. age / gender / location), though I hope I'm wrong.0 -
Thats brilliant and congrats to all you winners you have spurred me on I shall keep going - many thanks0

I'm under 20 and haven't won with Shortlist, Mr Hyde or Emerald Street but have with sixtyplusurfers :rotfl: I think it's purely random
good luck0 -
I'm 30 and have been comping for almost two years and have never won with Shortlist, Stylist, or Emerald Street. Or with The Times for that matter... maybe it really is just random.0
