Pre-credit check check
Hi all
Not sure if this right forum, but here goes.
Think I've seen something on this on here before, but not sure where.
I'm pretty certain there's a way of being credit checked when talking to lender/card issuer without it actually appearing on your file. Almost like some kind of pre-check, but gets you a pretty strong idea of whether you'll be cleared.
Am I right in thinking this, and if so, what's it called.

i have no idea but you might be right, some companies has checked me but they do not appear in my file0
