Craghoppers sale now has items upto 75% off. Website banner shows up to 70% off but I noticed the women's Lexi jacket states 75% off (haven't checked the maths but seems a good reduction. From £120 down to £30.

Some decent reductions on women's fleece items too.

May be of use to someone.

Oh, it's a well known brand/website so I wouldn't have expected any issue?

I have MSE to thank for my Craghoppers 3in1 goretex jkt from a 75% off + code glitch 2yrs ago. Am pleased with todays order of 3x cosy double fleece tops for £10.50 each down from £35. Perfect with PJs.

    Thanks, the website also states
Experience warmth without the weight in this gorgeous compact down-filled jacket with a water repellent finish. The design features two lower pockets, including a security pocket. The Lexi Jacket is the perfect choice, combining warmth, security and style.

    Hence my confusion

Yup i was going to buy based on the wording, but then saw the 100% synthetic filling bit- the title in a search for Lexi actually says synthetic filled so I think it isn't down-filled at all and I have given it a miss.

Think I will give them a call in the morning to confirm....would have been a very overpriced synthetic filled jacket...will report back on here if I find out x
  • This link may help in terms of down vs synthetic, particularly 'downside' about two thirds in.

It's usually natural down vs waterproofing as the two together are quite hard to find, other than at NorthFace etc for more extreme weather/activities.
