Hi All,
Is anybody expecting a payrise this year or perhaps some have already received theirs?
Personally I'm not sure I will, company figures are very good but come the pay review I will only have been 10 months in the job.

My husband received a 0.5% payrise from the 31st of December, he also received 2.5% earlier in the year, this was due to not receiving a payrise for several years before, plus he got a bonus too.
After he received his 3% payrise they made lots of redundancies AND cut back my husband's hours! So worse off but thankfully I earn a bit of money from home now (not a fortune mind!) and we do ok

Poor form from your husband's company, at least he did get the 3% payrise before his hours were cut.0 -
Our pay reviews are in May, so got to wait a while to find out yet
Hopefully I will get one though, albeit it'll probably be quite small. 0 -

They're a HUGE company so made some cutbacks to allow the pay rises to happen, really they just trimmed off some of the fat I guess.
I am actually happy the hours have been cut back slightly as my husband has done a reckless amount of hours in the last year and is too kind/loyal to say no, so done us a little favour really
