I've only just realised that you don't have to copy a captcha phrase EXACTLY!
All this time I've been carefully making sure that all the capital letters are in the right place in the words...and you don't need to!

It's the ones that ARE text sensitive but don't bother telling you that wind me up.
Are you also aware that on most of them you only have to type the 'wavy' word?Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

OMG well that makes two of us lol!!!
I did wonder sometimes when I spotted a mistake just as I'd hit the enter button, but then it went through, I used to think "well I knew that wasn't right"!!!
Am I being ultra thick then to ask why we don't have to spell it right?
Didn't know the wavy tip either Barnabysue - thanks!2024 £72, 2023 £2230, 2022 £300, 2021 £1800, 2015 £3790, 2014 £44600 -
i had my suspicions as im sure ive typed one letter wrong on more than one occasion and its gone through anyway lol0

Also, the ones that have numbers and a photo of a 'door/house number' (or similar) - you only need to type the number (not the door/house number in the photo).:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0

The ones in the daily click to win comps seem to allow more leeway than normal captchas.0

Oh dear me too! Feel like an idiot, I had no idea. How much time have I wasted:rotfl:
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one0 -

I don't like the KitKat one - I think it takes longer than the standard ones. Same with the drop down menu ones where you pick an answer.
I also hate the click to win 'describe this brand in one word' type ones, when it's an American brand I've never heard of!
Typing letters is quicker for me - a bit more 'autopilot'!0 -

I find KitKat easier, doesn't require any concentration to do (I do it first so it is completing while I form fill etc)
Doesn't matter what the brand is on the 'describe this brand in one word', just type any short word you like (no point in typing a long one)0
