Removing waterproof mascara

Can anyone give me any clues on how to remove waterproof mascara from bedding. Had guests and I have found on the duvet cover after they left. Of course it had to be white bedding
I have squirted it with some stain remover and washed it but it hasn't made a difference

It may be a stupid suggestion but have you tried eye make-up remover?0

I highly recommend washing up liquid - squirt a bit on, work it in really well and give it a few mins to work then wash as normal.
Also I have used nail varnish remover and cola is good for stain removal, exp greasy marks (and mascara is actually quite greasy).
Deff try the washing up liquid first, worked a treat for me when I did the same thing on new bedding.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Failing that what about really scrubbing/brushing at it very hard? I wear waterproof mascara and I find if I am ever without proper make-up remover the only thing that works to reduce the panda eyes is really scrubbing it with a flannel. However I realise skin is different to sheets so not really sure how useful that would be!0

Careful with scrubbing, I tried to get an oily mark off our nice JL duvet cover where the cat had for got something in her coat. Used a washing scourer and it ended up putting a hole in the duvet coverFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried washing up liquid on it this morning and it has worked a treat when I re-washed it. I now have the cleaned cover in the area0
