A couple of small things from my burger shop this morning in case it is of help to anyone

    Twinings Camomile 20 T bags £1.29T £1.00M
Batchelors cup a soup 4 sachet cream of veg with croutons £1.15T £0.57M

I know I don't chat very much and don't contribute as often as most people, but would it be worth creating a list of useful fillers to go with the burger shop? I just lost 20p on a PP (big deal, I know!!:rotfl:). I'll start it off and see if others pick it up. (I know Savvy's list is more comprehensive but I want to stay simple.)

    Useful fillers

First price T, second price M

    Twinings Camomile 20 T bags £1.29T £1.00M
Batchelors cup a soup 4 sachet cream of veg with croutons £1.15T £0.57M
    E/DAY VAL SKIMMED L/L MLK 1L £0.57 £0.57

    LOOSE CLOSED CUP MUSHROOMS 0.049kg £0.13 £0.13
    PEARS CONFERENCE CLASS 1 LOOSE 0.144kg £0.28 n/a
    BRUSSELS SPROUTS LOOSE CLASS 1 0.052kg £0.13 £0.13
    BANANAS LOOSE 176kg £0.12 £0.12
    LOOSE BROWN ONIONS CLASS 2 0.122kg £0.11 £0.11
    CARROTS LOOSE CLASS 1 0.124kg £0.11 £0.11
    LOOSE RED ONIONS CLASS 2 0.1kg £0.09 £0.09
garlic at 30p also worked though oddly only the 30p appeared in the PP and I had to look at the receipt to see what I bought.

    AVOID!

As a new thread is imminent I won't ramble on too much - we are having yet another really bad day but I will tell all later - still in the midst of cleaning up the aftermath after yesterday's big clear out and clean up.

We were coming back from town, been to see the Holly Holly day parade and it was starting to spit. Then the heavens opened and torrential rain started followed by a full blown thunder and lightning storm - it was only 2 o'clock and it was as black as it is at 5 at night. then we had a hail storm that was a white out and when we parked up and got out of the car the path was covered in white micro beads which made it very slippy.

Was this local to us in Cheshire or did anyone else have this freak weather!

Emma, DH has the samsung and although it takes good photos he always struggles to get them from the phone onto the pc. His contract is up in March and he's changing to an iPhone 4S - some good deals on these since the 5 came out.

A fillers list is a good idea - ideally we could do with lots of little 20p or less things - ideally things we need anyway or things useful to send to food banks.

I always get value water which is 17p - still and sparkling - but 18p in Morrisons.

I also get value garlic bread which is 34p or 35p - useful freezer filler.
