Hi there. Thwarted on Avs M as A has moved the McCartney Sausages off the 2 for £3 (£1 in M) and reduced the individual price to £1.50:mad::mad:. I'm struggling with my shopping for Avs S, as Sains. is such an expensive store at the moment. And, for Avs T, I thought of the Walker's Chipsticks (T £1).

I think Walkers 6 pack all Cheese & Bacon crisps are a 'trigger' to the 3 for £4 at the moment - but it's not worth it in my view. The Chipsticks (T at £1 and M at £1:( (was 84p before the probably £1.60 odd in between - I paid no attention to that high price)) are an 8 pack, but they are 22g. So that's roughly a 7 pack then:(, based on equivalent packs being 25g. Even after £1.70 x2 (on the chipsticks) but paying 3 for £4 and then £1.70 x2 vs £1 x2 (less 10%), it's still about 80p a multipack. For treated as 7x2 = 14 plus 6 crisps packs (the Cheese & Bacon). 80px3 (£2.40) is way too much for equivalent of 20 packs of crisps:(:(:(.

Princes Pastes are 27p for Mr Sainsbobs (but all five of them are showing on msm and all with the 3 for £1:(, so I'm not getting them and that's ruled that out for me). Hopeless. Hopeless. Hopeless. I need you all to check wombles, post especially items where there are big price differences and preferably with the competitor well below £1. I've already had the £3.14 Crunchy Nuts go down to £2 on me, and now the £2 Linda McCartney down to £1.50 for one as well. I really dislike these price-cutting stores:rotfl:. Please can you all find me a good glitch (on good food, not yet more chocolates or shower gels, could do with nice price glitch on fresh meat or veg.) to help this thread go out with a bang!:D:)

I thought so;):D. I'm off now nearly as soon as I came in (please reply though, even if I'm on red, as I'll catch any answers later) - as I'm putting my shopping planning to bed now and hopefully have some fresh inspiration later! Yet to catch up to see if there's any glitches of course(:rotfl:) bit tired at the end of a long week, but nice it's Friday:j:j, good weekend to come.:T:beer:
    Goodnight folks!!:D
  • My Cushelle Koala has arrived, at work. I think I will call mine 'Jenny'.:)
    Does anyone want to play

    Where's Jenny?

The first one is nice and easy for you...

The second is a little more difficult...

There is a prize for anyone who spots all five:)

Not a left-over-glitch prize, either; a proper prize
    (which I haven't thought of yet:rotfl:)

  • Oh collected dss 1 from a party and went to Mr t on way home. Thought he'd surprise me with my fave pudding treacle sponge and ice cream. Delicious. Except he'd got mint ice cream and I didn't notice til I'd got a big spoonful of both in my mouth.

Not a flavour combo to recommend :rotfl:
