I've just thought of a possible use (besides the original intended use of you to cross-check against both m.com and msm/msl). Some of the items are showing on my M comparable list as unavailable. These items may well still be available but merely to have had weight changes (inevitably weight reductions?). The items could now be unavailable or it may be that these are where changes in weight have occurred since they were added to the list months ago. This could therefore advise you of instances where you would be getting less of a product that you would have had before! I can see at least one is still available - Walkers 22 pack crisps (that were 24 pack before they were added to this list) are now a 20 pack - they are back on £2.00 btw in Mr M (may help if circumstances become favourable). Some of those chocolate pouches - the "unavailable"s indicate those where there has been a weight reduction!:rotfl:

Or it may be that there are still available at the old sizes and haven't lost weight, just that they are currently not available in my local A store:o:o.

Additionally, though, I have been looking at these items and msm has told me a few are cheaper than A in other rivals. Parts 2 and 3 got a possible saving of around £20 in Mr T (or, rather, Avs T potentially!:D) This final part - it's saying I could save up to £48.87 by switching to Mr T. (Obviously some of those items will be swaps rather than comparable ones, but it may inform me of possible Avs Ts - I'll have a look and some hazy recollection of these may well end up in a future Avs T list. Once I sort that into numerous logical sections:(:rotfl:.)
