    M&S best returns on food

If you pick the higest priced items in the meal deal (then other bits to make up to the £25) that gives you the best options for the least spend.

£10 Meal deal individual prices but worth £19.77
Main course range from £3.99 up to £6.99
Chicken - ranges from £4-50 to £6.70 so choose the biggest
2 pork, leek and bacon artisan pies @ £6.99 (highest priced)
    Side dishes are approx £2
    Wines Mainly £6.99
Desserts - range from £2.25 up to £3.79
2 Millionaires shortbread pots £3.79 (highest priced)
    2 rasp panna cotta £3.79

So a maximum meal deal spend could be £19.77 (the artisan pies, a side dish, the £3.79 desserts and any £6.99 wine). You then only need to get items worth £5.23. I did a £6 meal deal which was actually £8.98 before discounts.

Have i just confused you all??:o oops, sorry for droning on.

    Makes sense to me :)

You'll be please to know that I managed to use both vouchers in the store with no SS tills :D Spent over £25 after multi's came off though :o

I sent my mum home with 3 packs of mince yesterday and told her to bring them back in a month or so!

Do you mainland folks call M&S "Marksies" or is that a Norn Iron thing?

Eg. I am going to Marksies at lunchtime to get a meal deal
NO MORE HANDWASH GLITCHES PLEASE :D:D
  • he he,I've just been inadvertently "stalking" a girl in the communal kitchen. I went to make a cuppa and she came in straight after. when she unlocked and opened her tea/coffee cupboard, i noticed quite a few "pg cuppa club" boxes in there and got a bit giddy :D I should have just asked her for the codes but didn't want her to think I'm a weirdo so i kind of hung around, waiting for her to leave or go to the bathroom so i could quickly photograph the codes on my phones. Anyway, she didn't leave. ha ha. I took forever, filling up the tea caddy, refilling the coffee, washing the spoons etc but she still didn't get the message :rotfl:
