Afternoon Elite - just catching up with my emails when I noticed what looked like a genuine Paypal receipt for a payment to Skype for £55 :mad::mad:

Signed up for free Skype so I can chat to family abroad :( but when I checked payments via Paypal no such payment has been made thank goodness.

Thought I had boobed and done something wrong - cheeky robbing s*ds

It looked so legitimate too

I had the same email too, for the same amount!

But I checked the email address account it came from and could see straightaway it was dodgy! The actual email did look so genuine though, pays to be on the ball

The one I found was in front of a £6 SEL that was not it's own, it was only because I noticed it was bit sparkly that I realised it was the £3 ones. No SEL showed £3 at all.

Was it this one, only £3 online too:D

I don't think this will be of use to him

I remember someone saying you aren't supposed to submit the same receipt to both apps

T&C's confirm "a single receipt may only be submitted once, whether to CheckoutSmart or our partners (Quidco etc) and will be rewarded only the first time the receipt is submitted"
  • Been to Mr T's today and bought triple velvet 4 roll pack at £1.98 and used the printable coupon off the coupon thread (sorry don't know how to do a link) and the coupon out of the in store magazine so the pack cost 88p.
Not as good as the free Nouvelle packs but we go through toilet roll like there is no tomorrow in this house I don't know what they do with it!! I even tried squeezing the rolls at one point but it made no difference:(
Also got warburtons thins and the packets of naked salad:T

I thought theres something not quite right but on first glance it did look genuine. Did you notice the bit at the bottom that says if you dispute charge etc etc - makes you wonder whether people who dod this could get money nicked from their a/cs :eek::eek:

I had the same email and as I don't use sky's thought something was up. Checked PayPal and then defeated email. Friend told me when you click on dispute link you have to 'sign in' and then they have your details.
