  • Morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.

Well after spending yesterday looking after the hubby and lil stink as they are both ill, they have repaid me by passing on their germs. :( I was in bed by 8.30 last night feeling like a complete bag of poop.
I feel slightly better this morning but my head is pounding. It feels like someone is squeezing my brain. :(

Anyhow- loads to do so I've just gotta suck it up (no laying in bed for us mums)

I can indeed confirm the burgers are delicious. I may drag my sorry behind back to T's today for more.

Mimi- job starts next Monday, I'm totally excited about it :T
Just in case there's a lull in the chitchat tonight, I'll offer up this as a topic:
What you have been called if you'd been born the other sex?
So, ask your parents (if you can), and if you don't already know.
I would have been a 'Lyndsay'.:)

    And what about...
What would you like to be called if you were the other sex, and had the choice of name?
I'm quite liking the sound of Jenny, now, thanks to Emmap:T

I'm so glad I wasn't a boy, my mum really liked the name Chip
Other than that she really like sky for a girls name, my dad vetoed it though.

    Good morning all.

MKS you have have thanked all posters individually that's so nice. We cannot replace friends in RL but I really feel a sense of caring from the ops on here Many of the regular posters , "old timers", know so much more about the poster than my colleagues at work would do or even care.

    TS and scamps take care

My DH has family he never sees, No falling out just chooses not to have them in his life. It was a one way street, they only contacted him when the needed something done or money.

Anyway nipped into Tocso late last night and picked up unneeded Christmas odd and ends for under a tenner, Happy.

Got more responsibility at work yesterday so will have less time to keep up with you guys as I need to increase my hours to suit

    Happy shopping

Totally agree with you mrs Mac. It just shows what a wonderful group of people we have on here. The caring and sharing attitude of individuals here is a rare thing and something I'm really grateful to be a part of. X

I somehow managed to mess up at M&S before the cinema, I thought I'd scanned both my coupons but it only went down £5 and the receipt showed 2 x green redeem. I did green redeem first then M7S one. Has anyone else had a problem or was it probably just me?
Morning. Did you buy any reduced stuff? some people have noticed it only scans one voucher if you have a reduced item in there.
Aren't you near me? Or did i make that up  If so, the T at Bl nr Ikea was good yesterday for 10 p stuff but does get lurkered really really really really fast :rotfl:
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find
  • I bought 2 boxes of those pampers boxes in M's yesterday.

I usually find size 6 is thin on huge ground but my store had loads. I will go back for 2 more boxes today.

I'm hoping dd will toilet train soon, she will be 3 in April and I am sick of buying nappies! Or at least id like her to let me know how much longer she plans to use them so I can stock up!
