I think my shop must just send everything up to your store.
Have hand scanners at mine, zap everything, but all coming up at normal prices, and no christmas left over stock t be be seen.

The store I was in today seemed to very confused with itself. I kept finding clearance bay after clearance bay all over the place

People were ransacking the seasonal aisle whilst I was helping myself very casually from the xmas clearance section in household storage :rotfl:

  • AAU1 - Sorry if this is a daft question, but are all the bargains you are getting only with handheld scanners? I mean, if I went through SS with such items would they be different price?

I just love spaniels, my favourite dog in the whole wide world. Used to have a Golden Cocker Spaniel, she was my best friend :)

I'm new to this but as I understand it the tills and handheld scanners are run off two different databases so there can be differences between what price is displayed on the scanner and what you pay when you checkout

eg something that comes up on the handlheld scanner as 10p might not be 10p when you come to pay. It all depends if both databases are up to date/synced

The price you pay should be the same regardless of paying at scan and go, SS or manned till though

my baby no dogs to share but this is Blodwen a 17 hand pure bred shire oh and ds2 are currently training her to work in a cart and to plough etc , she is the most gentle baby and loves attention and cuddles

She is a beauty, but i am petrified of horses now, as a few years ago only just left our house which was down a country lane, and 2 horses were side by side, they waved us past and as we went round them, one of the horses just rammed the side of our car, was frightening, had both children youngest was only 1. Scared now every time i pass them.

Thanks - don't think any Tecso's in my part of the world hand held scanners anyway. I may have to have some fun at the price checkers later

  • Afternoon everyone.
    Hope you are all ok

Thanks to the OPs for the chrimbo reduction stuff. I picked up wrap, cards and bows this afternoon for my mum and I. No signage in my local so plenty there :)

Poorly people in my house today, the hubby and lil stink have both got a rotten cold and cough. No work or school for either today.
On the plus side they could keep each other company's while I had my induction at work. All went well, I'm really looking forward to starting next week :)
