Haven't a chance of catching up from before my holiday. So any info on glitches etc would be welcome.
Have to say a public 'Thank you' to FunkyFeet.:T
Because of one of her posts, I got back in touch with my brother. How glad I am that I did as we've spent time together and shared Christmas etc. with each other.
He died last Wednesday after suffering a brain (intracranial) hemorrhage. Totally unexpected. It would have been his birthday tomorrow.
So, please, anyone that has fallen out with family/close friends make the first move, you will never know if you'll get another chance. Life is just too short and you don't know what is around the corner.
.
So, so sorry to read your said news - hope you are doing ok. Lovely to read that you at least got to reconnect xo0 -
Just been to our local Spar to take the post and found
Covent Garden soups for £1 -four flavours
These are 600g rather than the 700g on Mys but on there they are £2.30  Very useful for filling in the corners in the freezer and mine have about a 2 week expiry date on them so they can sit in the fridge.
Not done the sums but I know its probably cheaper to do home made soup but if you are short of time or don't have enough fridge left overs this is the next best thing.
They also had 2 packs of butter for £2 so another good freezer gap filler.
so at least we spent money in a local shop today supporting a local business and didn't waste petrol driving into town.
Yes I know its sometimes £1 a pack for butter in Asda or Aldi but in reality if you add on cost of petrol to drive and our Asda is a paid carparks. and also in both places you are very unlikely to come out without spending at least a tenner on other bits“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

quidco and shopitize reps are active on MSE. I think they just search for their company names to see if any issue is being discussed that they could help with
Maybe we should disguise like we do Sada, Mr T
I have to admit...I like fuzzgun's "quapco"! :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I found loads of cheap (10p or so) items today. :j :j
Some I've seen mentioned before, some I haven't (details will follow)
I took a few of each item for me and then took the rest to the clearance bins at the front of the store thinking it would be a nice surprise for people picking up bargains from there
At one point I came back to the bins to add more stuff and discovered that everything I put in had been yellow stickered....and was now half the scanning price again (or in some cases 20% of the scanning price)
Needless to say I swapped all the remainig 10p items in my trolley for these newly stickered 5p items :money:
:rotfl:
I also got another storage box for £1mrsmac, if I see any more I'll top shelf them and give you a heads up. I finally think I have enough
