Sounds like you have a lot of supporters, which will back you up and that's great. Sadly for us we lost contact with our niece for many years, but when she left home and became a mum herself she realised how things had been and distanced herself from her mum and made contact with us. so many missed years

I'm glad you've got contact now. I'm sure you've explained to her what happened and she understands.

My brother pulled her up today on her using, and allowing her 7 year old to use highly inappropriate language around, in front of and towards my nephew, he was met with "mind your own business". Well excuse us, but exposing a 10 year old to language like that IS his business

OH kinda messed up with the burgers :( He bought 6 on the same receipt, and also bought twinings with our coupons on the same receipt and various other things he fancied buying while he was there without thinking of how they would affect the price check. The 6 burgers was bad enough with the £10 cap, but the cost of the shopping ended up coming to £40 and only a £5 price check receipt. Feels like such a shame when we've saved so much this weekend!

:( oh dear. They don't understand do they? You need to stick to the list!

Hm, actually, just put the details into the T check thing. He got a few packs of the flavoured burgers, and they didn't work. So it only works on the plain burgers.

Definitely! Doesn't matter how many times I tell him about it, he still does it! Alongside other daft counterproductive things like "Oh I was just driving past Morribobs on the way home and we needed X and I saw Y was on offer too so I got that" and he comes home having spent £20 and saying, "I just figured you wouldn't have been able to get it much cheaper than £20!"

    He will learn, eventually!

Coming back from Ts, I stopped at the lights (monitored by a camera)_.An ambulance pulled up behind me with lights flashing so me and another car went through and pulled over in front of the other lanes to let it past. Worried now I'll get a fine and points!
I was told on the course I went on for going through a red light...
Yes u do get a ticket but only if the camera doesnt see the emergency vehicle.. so if the emergency vehicle is in the picture then its ok..
but then if not... its an arguable situation!!

Back from my steak burger shop - we tried some earlier and very tasty with limited shrinkage/fat dripping out which is a good sign. Bought a few deals for the freezer for another day :) ... Sort of defeats the object of buying fresh but better value than frozen.

TCP halogen bulbs are RTC 25p each from £1 - 3 for 2 still kicking in
So 50p for 3 bulbs is not too bad (not as good as the 8 packs for this price but then no stores I visited had them).

Most clearance stock in our store has now been replaced with toiletries so good luck if anyone is still looking for some of the fantastic deals posted. I really must get more organised next time as I missed the electric deals
