Well, the phone engineer arrived (at a completely different time of day to that arranged, but we'd already catered for that eventuality:D). Phone line was totally dead last night, yet with intermittent internet. Apparently was back on (but really bad line) this morning. Phone now totally dead again - yet internet (touch wood) seems to have been continuously on for the last hour. The problem (just as I thought it would be) is outside of our premises:D:j:j, so it's their problem to deal with (i.e. we don't get charged as the fault isn't ours) although it is our problem in that it causes us the problems we are having with the phone and internet.
So they are now to book another visit:(:(, and thus we'll be in the faulty line/intermittent internet situation for longer still. Deep joy:(:rotfl:.0 -
Is there a method that the till person needs to use to get the sada e voucher to scan?
Staff training again
The staff at this branch of sada showed me a sheet they'd been given-hand written by manager-its was wrong. They didn't even know they had to scan it as a gift card. Till staff were fine and one managed it in the end but manager didn't know what to do and caused the fuss and also some trainee manager who really really needs a lot more training as I informed her after her second sarcastic comment. Apparently she knew what she was doing and didn't like me pointing out she was wrong saying that I coundn't use it. I thanked the till staff who were friendly just hadn't been trained but I told her a. not to speak to me again since she didn't know what she was doing and b. to apply for as many training courses as she could because it was evident that she was far from being fully trained for anything
Wouldn't normally speak like that to anyone but a. I don't use the store much and b. I really really didn't like her.....and now she knows it.
I have no issues when someone says they don't know what to do but I do have issues with lies, sarcasm because I'm using vouchers and faking knowledge... an then trying to blame me because I dared to try and use gift card....I'm going to make sure I use that store alot more from now on and use as many vouchers and do as many apg's as I can and if I see her on a till she's the one I'm going to...:rotfl::A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -
I know you will want to sell and move on from all this but at least this gives you time to run down your cheese stash
Having an impromptu cheese and wine (and gammon :rotfl:) party tomorrow evening. Invites only been going out today.
Shame Dodo can't make it. Do you think she has enough cheese already. :think:0 -

And I put up such a good fight to get 3 finest gammons for £2 each. You would have thought he would have been proud of me.:o
I only really wanted one but could not bring myself to put them back on the shelf when this couple grabbed I mean really grabbed, the man scooped them up in his arms, the other dozen at least.
I didn't want to give them the pleasure of having more.
I hope they are not lurkers on here because it was just wrong, if they had their way I would not have got even one.
No wonder she didn't want to make small talk with me while we were waiting for them to be brought back out.
