Whilst I do not condone re using coupons, and think you are on dodgy grounds if you do, there is one massive difference between the example in the article and what is happening at M&S.

In Tesco at Self Serve tills, you are prompted and asked to put the vouchers in the little slot. You cannot check out properly without doing so. The fraud occured because they were putting something else in the slot to fool the till.

In M&S, when using the vouchers, it is not asking you to put them anywhere. So it is not advising you to deposit the coupon, nor are you then putting something else in the slot instead of the coupon (which is the fraudulent bit, passing off an item as something it is not).

So whilst I am no legal expert, and do not recommend testing my theory, M&S would be pushed to prosecute you where you to re use coupons, for a start they would have to prove you were reusing coupons, not just using different coupons from a large stash, and whilst I cannot confirm this, the bar codes on the vouchers are the same, (at least on some of the coupons) so would struggle to prove any fraud.

They could of course Ban you, get you arrested on suspicion of fraud, make your life a misery for a while (as has been seen in the past) etc. etc. so not worth it IMO.

    It's a good job I didn't pay for them. :D

Not even a penny as I got them free on DTD when they went back up to full price before dropping down the next day to the magic number. ;)

On closer inspection it's just the dark chocolate champagne truffles that are mouldy, would be a shame to waste the rest. :o

See if I survive the night I guess. :rotfl:

Don't chuck them. If the "fur" is pale it's probably just the cocoa butter sort-of -crystallizing. Doesn't affect the eating properties. All chocolate does this eventually if you leave it long enough. Chocolate keeps for a long time. I'd be surprised if it really went mouldy in a couple of years.

At my tesco, you put the coupons in the slot and they don't register. So the SA starts shoving bits of paper in the slot until the machine registers something. When they tally up at the end of the day they must find all sorts of rubbish in there!

Thank you for my pm's, you know who you are

Phase one of my day complete. I'm on my way home from work, and if I'm really lucky, it might still be light when I get there!

The list of stuff I've got to do when I'm running my bath is mad, but it shall all be done and then when I get home later tonight, I can relax :)

Shame I can't relax during the party, my brothers girlfriend is already going out of her way to  me off

But of course, I will be the better person. Tonight anyway :rotfl:
