Afternoon allThrifty_Sister wrote: »The virus has had the same effect on me EmmaP - BUT it triggered off an asthma attack on Tuesday night which scared the carp out of me :eek::eek: I don't have asthma and I was literally fighting to breathe. It was horrible - but thanks to some urgent medical treatment with steroids and an inhaler I am getting back to normal now. Take care.
And I have developed a very deep respect for asthma sufferers. You have all my sympathy - wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Missed the morning slot but hope you're all having a good afternoon
Hope your ok hun, it's as scary as hell if you've never had one before. The more you panic the worse it gets. I've lived with it for pretty much my whole life so I know what sets me off. I once had one because I was laughing so much.:o Wasn't very funny when the ambulance arrived.
XxI've heard nothing since my confirmation email at 5.35 yesterday. My order was placed at 5.01 for home delivery.
Did you go for store pick up or home delivery? There was some speculation on the other thread that store collection were being dealt with first as they'd need to be ready for collection today/tomorrow. In which case no doubt they've not got to mine yet and there'll be none left
Mines ready for pick up now, can't be bothered to jump on my bike though so I'll grab it tomorrow. Hope yours is all there logie xI had a right old palava today in Mr A...I had a couple of the e-vouchers (bespoke offers) to use.
I used the self service till but they did not scan at all...they tried everything, then had to move me down to CS to manually do it all there. It went through okay, but if anyone is thinking of using theirs, I would suggest going to a manned till.
If any kind person on here needs any help recycling M & S coupon sheets, please can you PM me...I would be happy to help
x
Snap, my Sada really peed me off today. The coupon wouldn't work on self scan so the SA took me to customer service and rang it up there. He was a miserable little turd who acted like I was trying to pay in bottle tops . After paying I checked my receipt and found I had been overcharged twice. He walked off for 5 minute to check the prices, when he came back he announced he couldn't find the items and couldn't be bothered to look any more so he would just refund the difference. (I had already told him what I thought they were priced up as) I asked about the £2 gift cards and was told they didn't do them.
I asked him to check, he spun round asking the woman SA nearest him and she agreed. By now I was so annoyed I just said no problem I'll be calling head office.
Head office are sending a £4 gift card to me, to be honest I was more annoyed as his incredibly crappy customer service. Who in their right mind tells a customer they can't be bothered to do something.
Gimme a minute and I'll give you all the details of the items that scanned wrong . XLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0
