These are two of my pet hates - also add: there, their, they're. I can't stand it when someone thinks "there" covers all bases, e.g. "They went there to get there shopping. There stuck in traffic now". It especially bugs me when someone randomly uses "their" incorrectly, e.g. "Their are two different ways to get their". I saw someone on the Dark Side use this earlier and I was like "how can you think that's right???!" :o

I remember chat on here not long ago about people saying walldrobes, meaning wardrobes :rotfl: and also saying chester drawers, meaning chest of drawers :rotfl: I think these came from Ebay listings but it was amazing how many different people had placed listings using these words rather than the correct words!!

Seem to remember somebody on here giving details of a good car breakdown scheme - was it auu? OH needs to renew and the renewal from AA is £104 :eek::eek: so thought I'd check out some other schemes

Yep it was a month ago . Jelly biactol was mentioning http://www.autonational.co.uk
There's also http://www.startrescue.co.uk/ but I've never used them.

I mentioned autoaid (pay and reclaim so you need to carry money or a card), been with them for years now, very happy.

All less than half what your OH is being asked for.

got side tracked by reading about renewing passports. Mine is due this summer (10th wedding anniversary). Spent 10 mins reading up about head shots etc. Need to do one for 4 yr DS in case he comes away with us too.

    :)

Can I add that it's better to get a photo 'studio' to do your child's passport photos
They will get the correct 'head shot' for about £1 more that a phone booth.

Glad I wasn't the only one to benefit :D , Take it back without receipt, say you bought it today & they'll print a new receipt, won't even know you've been refunded ;)

:shhh: I did with a DTD epilator, decided I didn't want to go through the pain barrier after all :rotfl:

Can you do that if you bought it some days ago please? I've lost a receipt on something I want to return.
