Is the ? because you want to know what Yiddish is? or because you are amazed at what people read?

Yiddish is conglomeration of several languages, mainly German, Polish and Russian, developed and mainly spoken by Jewish people that were disposed from their natural homelands and brought together in new countries where they didn't speak the language of their new home.
It meant they could converse with each other wherever they were in the world. Many phrases have become part of our everyday language.

I think it is the fact it is a curse first and secondly in an unusual language. I have to admit that I struggle with anyone cursing anyone (even with a sense of humour).. the world is a bad enough place and I do believe that we should not do any bad to anyone especially due to misleading stereotypes...... sorry I will get off my soap box in a mo.. But about 15 years ago, I used to buy things from auction to sell. In a box there was some Jewish religious book some over a 100 years old. I contact a synagog, and donated the books. They invite the children to visit, they were really lovely to the kids and very happy that the books had been given to them.

Does anyone know any good offers anywhere on plastic storage boxes, need to sort DS2 toys out desperately.

I have a bit of a fettish for storage boxes! I have a very wide range, but for the last year or so I have just purchased the large boxes from Staples as they are really sturdy
