  • Loads of greatly reduced stuff in my local today. Best reduction was a flat pack Eco composter. SEL was £30, scanned at 75p. Small round Llandemann bbqs £2, large tubs slug killer 10p, liquid drop orchid feed 10p and electric propogator 25p. Staff bringing heavily reduced stuff out all the time. Spent 4 hours in there!

Forgot to mention that it's worth scanning anything to do with garden as it's all reduced. Hardwood handle BBQ tools were 10p.

Sorry - do you mean "when" or "then"?:rotfl:
(Just because "when" doesn't scan quite right for me (why would you go through the numbers when you had already "realised"?).)

It's taken me ages to spot it.

You'd never have thought in a million years that proof reading is a big part of my job :o:o

    Eh?

You're all obviously, when looking at it, looking in the wrong place. Typical how I focussed straight at the end (and thus missed the overall message first, instead concerning myself with the tiny error before all else).

It is interesting - it's if you drop your car keys on the floor of your hallway (now - which way round was it? Going to get reference book out to check this) - if you hear the keys have dropped and find them, you intuitively and immediately know they are car keys and where they should go. I however find the keys, I think I find them more easily, but then (so the theory is) struggle with what they are and where they go. You walk through the hallway and don't notice where anything is that shouldn't be on the floor, I walk through the hallway and immediately notice where everything else is and have my attention distracted towards it - rather than walking into the next room and greeting the people in there. (Indeed, I walk into the next room and see the patterns on the carpet, hear the sound of the radiator clank, hear a passing car outside, see a note left on the mantelpiece with one word spelled incorrectly, before I see anyone in there.)

I'm wondering the same. Now he's back with the car I have carte blanche but Ibdont know if it'll be worth it :(

But I'm not gonna find a cheap DSLR by sitting on my backside. But there's no guarantee that I'll find one if I do go! Ooooooh, decisions decisions :rotfl:

I'm not doing M&S so I'm ok with that.

I might pop up the stoke later and see if there's any cheap cameras:)

I indeed looked in the wrong place. I looked at the numbers and not the written text :o
