  • This is a company that will just pester and pester until you pay up. They will not take you to court in a million years, so my answer is just change your phone number. Mike from MMF is actually on Facebook and he is a big muscly guy, but I doubt he will come around to anyone's house
  • Let me just clarify a few things .. I've worked for mmf and can confirm there is a company called winterhill chase solutions that do home visits.. To all the people that think we can't do that , yes we can. . It isn't illegal as we are not bailiffs so it is still acceptable in scotland.. And yes they do visit.. I've taken numerous calls from them while I worked for them from the home visit team while they were on the property of a debtor ... Instead of complaining about debt collectors , how about stop been irresponsible lending money you can't pay back .. How can you not expect to be chased for the monies owed and complain about interest.. Read the small print guys ! And another thing .. Why call just be utter pricks .. Its not our fault your in debt . Personally I learnt to stick you all on mute and sip my coke while letting you all waffle on. If someone rings and genuinely wants to pay their debts off I will do all I can to help , I just can't stand the people who have no morals and have no intention of paying it back .

The person that you are attempting to contact can ask your contractors to leave, and if this does not materialise, call the police to have them forcibly removed.

This post will be reported to both MMF and the appropriate regulator, as if staff are allowed to get away with this, it makes me wonder if the company is fit to hold a credit license.

I have every sympathy for (and regularly deal with) both parties in debt cases, however I am shocked that you feel it's fair to treat a debtor explaining their circumstances in this way.
