My adviser has told me to apply for a self employed vacancy, can I refuse?
I would apply if it was likely to pay min wage but it's a knocking on doors, sales job,

To refuse to apply you need to prove you would be worse off. Unless you have information to the contrary, you should apply and see what you are told if you get an interview.0

Why does this make you want to refuse? It has to pay minimum wage, and so it's still going to leave you better off than on benefits.0 -
Yes, you can refuse, you cannot be mandated to become self-employed.0
